WP8 is a work package with a more operational nature. It offers WP4, WP5 and WP6 three specific models: i) one model on urban metabolism including four specific sub-models on energy (buildings and transports), land, food and water; ii) one model for the provision of general interest services, combining information concerning the spatial demand for services to define spatial patterns of supply optimizing the trade-off between accessibility and economies of scale; and, finally, iii) one model for the tourism sector in Portugal, combining a scenario analysis with a multi-criteria methodology.
